Body Changes

Changes in Your Body

  • No noticeable changes yet, you’re still having your period at the start of this window.
  • Around ovulation, some notice mild pelvic twinges or increased cervical mucus.
  • Hormone levels then begin to rise after conception, though there’s still nothing visible on the outside.

What's Happening Inside?

  • Pregnancy is dated from the first day of your last period, so conception hasn’t happened yet at the start of this window.
  • Ovulation and fertilization occur around week 2-3, and by the end of week 3 the fertilized egg is a tiny cluster of dividing cells travelling to the womb.
