30th Week

Rapid Growth, Vivid Dreams

Welcome To Week 30!

Your baby’s development is hitting its peak. Your body works overtime loosening joints and retaining fluids, which can trigger wider feet, noticeable ankle swelling, vivid dreams, or a small amount of leaking colostrum as your breasts prepare for feeding.

  • Your baby weighs approximately 1.319 kg and measures about 39.9cm from head to toe.
  • Fat is rapidly depositing under the skin of the limbs, and fine hair covers the body.
  • The baby is actively storing iron in their cells, alongside calcium and phosphorus in their bones.
  • Brain tissues are developing further, and bone marrow is fully managing red blood cell production.
  • Baby is about the size of a large cabbage.
