Tiny Beginnings, Growing Wonders

Welcome To Week 13!

You have officially entered the second trimester. Your early symptoms are fading as your body adapts to an expanding uterus, which can cause shortness of breath or changes in your breasts.

  • Your baby is about 7.4cm long and weighs roughly 23 grams.
  • Fine hair is growing, and the baby can suck their thumb or touch the uterine walls.
  • The lips, nose, and vocal cords are forming rapidly.
  • The baby swallows amniotic fluid, and internal systems like the pancreas and gallbladder are fully formed.
  • Baby is about the size of a lemon.
