20th Week

Blooming Growth, Beautiful Changes

Welcome To Week 20!

You have officially reached the halfway mark of your pregnancy. Your body works overtime due to increased melanin production, which can cause skin darkening on your face and breasts, alongside normal tightening sensations in the uterus.

  • Your baby weighs approximately 300 grams and measures about 16.4cm from head to rump.
  • The baby is sucking more than ever to practice and prepare the body for future digestion.
  • Production of meconium (the baby’s first stool) begins and starts storing in the intestines.
  • The top of your uterus (fundal height) now reaches about 20 cm, matching your week of pregnancy.
  • Baby is about the size of a banana.
