34th Week
A World of Wonder Awaits
Welcome To Week 34!
You are rapidly approaching your due date. Your body works overtime as the baby drops lower into your pelvis, commonly triggering sharp “lightning strike” pelvic pressures, difficult walking, more frequent urination, and strong uterine tightening.
- Your baby weighs approximately 2.147 kg and measures about 46cm from head to toe.
- The baby’s nervous system and lungs are now well-matured and functioning smoothly.
- Skin has become beautifully soft, and the limbs frequently protrude visibly against your abdomen.
- Babies born at this stage generally do very well, only requiring a few extra days of hospital observation.
- Baby is about the size of a cantaloupe.
