29th Week
Tiny Schedules, Moving Milestones
Welcome To Week 29!
You are settling further into your third trimester. Your body works overtime as your growing uterus slows down digestion and puts pressure on surrounding organs, commonly triggering severe constipation, frequent urination, or leg cramps.
- Your baby weighs approximately 1.153 kg and measures about 38.6cm from head to toe.
- The lungs and muscles are continuing to mature rapidly, actively preparing for that first breath.
- The head is growing larger in proportion to the body, and the eyes can now move within their sockets.
- Red blood cells are actively being produced in the bone marrow, and the baby continues to accumulate vital body fat.
- Baby is about the size of a butternut squash.
