38th Week

Celebrating Every Little Milestone

Welcome To Week 38!

You are only a few days away from meeting your little one. Your body works overtime finalizing preparations for birth as your cervix begins changing and thinning out (effacing), commonly triggering intense pelvic pressure, natural colostrum leaks, and continued fluid swelling in your feet and ankles.

  • Your baby is fully developed, weighing approximately 3.1 kg and measuring over 49.5cm.
  • All internal organs are completely matured, leaving the baby fully prepared for life outside the womb.
  • The baby’s head is typically positioned deep downward toward the cervix in prime position for birth.
  • Fetal movements remain consistent but can feel much more intense and crowded in the limited space.
  • Baby is about the size of a leek.
