A Little Life, A Beautiful Journey

Welcome To Week 16!

You are likely starting to experience a radiant “pregnancy glow”. Your body works overtime producing about 50% more blood than usual, which can trigger minor symptoms like nasal congestion or brittle nails.

  • Your baby measures approximately 11.6cm from crown to rump and weighs about 100 grams.
  • The head is held more upright, back muscles are stronger, and actual scalp hair can be identified.
  • The baby frequently sucks their thumb and actively tosses their flexible arms and legs around.
  • Toenails, eyelids, and eyebrows are forming, and the ears are reaching their proper facial placement.
  • Baby is about the size of an avocado.
