Where Life Begins to Bloom

Welcome To Week 8!

Your baby is developing rapid human features. Your body works overtime as the uterus doubles in size, causing physical changes and normal discomforts like waist or back pain.

  • Your baby is about 1.6cm long from head to rump and weighs roughly 1 gram.
  • The baby has a human appearance, and fingers, toes, and limbs are lengthening.
  • The heart begins dividing into chambers, beating at around 150 beats per minute.
  • Brain activity begins, eyelids cover the eyes, and taste buds, teeth, and upper lip form.
  • Baby is about the size of a raspberry.
